Why won't the accuracy badge turn cyan?

VPS requires a clear outdoor view of building facades that Google Street View has mapped. Tips:

  • Step outside — VPS does not work indoors
  • Point your camera at a building (not the sky or ground)
  • Move slowly and give the system 5–10 seconds to lock
  • Works best in urban areas with dense Street View coverage
  • Dense tree cover or new construction may reduce accuracy

My post disappeared. Where did it go?

Posts are persistent but a few things can cause them to not appear:

  • You may be outside the 1km discovery radius — move closer to where you dropped it
  • The post may have been moderated for content violations
  • Posts set with an expiry timer will auto-delete when the timer runs out
  • If you deleted the post from your profile, it's permanently removed

The app crashed. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  • Force quit and reopen the app
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection — both WiFi and cellular work
  • Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
  • If crashes persist, email us at support@get-post.co with your device model and iOS/Android version

Can I use Post indoors?

The AR pin drop requires an outdoor VPS lock on a building. Once locked, you can briefly move indoors and the session may persist, but starting a session indoors is not supported. The map view works everywhere.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your Profile (the person icon on the map screen) → tap the settings icon → "Delete Account". This permanently deletes your account and all associated posts. This action cannot be undone.

I want to report a post

Email safety@get-post.co with the post location (approximate street address) and the reason for the report. We review all reports within 24 hours.

What devices are supported?

  • iOS: iPhone 8 or newer, iOS 16+, with ARKit support
  • Android: Android 8.0+, ARCore supported device (most Android phones from 2018 onward)
  • Check if your Android device is on the ARCore supported devices list
